Director of Media Relations

The Director of Media Relations serves as the Fairness Center’s primary media contact and collaborates with the Vice President of Communications to ensure the firm’s clients accomplish their goals in the court of public opinion. Candidates should have exceptional writing and editing skills, keen attention to detail, and be proactive self-starters.

Responsibilities include:

  • Media Relations: Execute short- and long-term strategies to achieve clients’ goals in the media.
  • Writing & Editing: Tell clients’ stories to key audiences, including donors, clients, media figures, and potential clients.

Candidate qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of experience in a writing, communications, public relations, or related role.
  • Commitment to the Fairness Center’s mission.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
